“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” -Maimonides.

The Organization on 26th February 2021, initiated the Student Training and Education Project (S.T.E.P/STEP) to sponsor the holistic education of underprivileged children while monitoring their progress.

The project’s primary mission is aligned with the fourth and fifth sustainable development goals which seek to ensure access for all to quality education and achieve gender equality among all women and girls.

The first beneficiary was three-year old Elizabeth Botchway who has improved greatly since starting school at The Lord’s Foundation Academy.

Eight other children from the La Wireless Cluster of Schools became new beneficiaries of the initiative on July 20, 2021.

In September 2021, Prince, a talented boy identified by S.T.E.P who makes toy cars out of wood was connected to some members of staff at Ashesi University and Asustem Robotics Academy ( A STEM Educator in Ghana) who granted him a year’s scholarship to study robotics at their facility. We recently changed Prince’s school to a Grade A private school to give him access to quality education.

Through the Student Training and Education Project, we have empowered our beneficiaries by providing them with opportunities to attend workshops that enhance their strengths and talents. We believe in holistic support, which is why we organize engaging activities and trips, not only for our beneficiaries but also for their siblings and friends, ensuring they enjoy their childhoods to the fullest.

Additionally, we offer private tutoring and partnered with Chess-In-Slums Africa in 2022 to introduce them to the game of chess. Our commitment extends beyond education; we address their health, nutrition, and overall well-being, bridging the gaps left by their social circumstances.

At For The Future Ghana, we are dedicated to being a constant presence in their lives, bridging the gaps that are a result of their challenging social circumstances, and offering comprehensive support and fostering their growth.

Our Student Training and Education Project (S.T.E.P) has made a transformative impact in the lives of 13 exceptional children in all. Initially facing challenging and adverse circumstances, their stories have taken a positive turn since our intervention. Now, filled with hope and determination, they are eager to become catalysts for change and create the world they envision.
